Sarpsborg Stadion Gears Up for Busy September with Two Key Home Fixtures
Sarpsborg Stadion is entering one of its most active periods of the 2026 season, with Eliteserien home fixtures against Vålerenga and KFUM Oslo falling within eleven days of each other. Supporters are urged to get their tickets early as the club also prepares for a Norwegian Cup last-32 tie later in the month.
A Packed Fortnight at Sarpsborg Stadion
September is shaping up to be one of the most active months of the season at Sarpsborg Stadion. With two home Eliteserien fixtures confirmed within the space of eleven days, supporters have plenty to look forward to on their own patch — and the first of those games, against Vålerenga, has already delivered a night to remember.
The next home date is Friday 18 September, when KFUM Oslo make the trip to Sarpsborg. Sandwiched between the two home matches is an away derby at Fredrikstad on 13 September, meaning the club's followers face a hectic and exciting stretch of fixtures across all fronts.
Cup Commitments Add to the Schedule
Beyond the league, Sarpsborg 08 FF also have cup football to contend with. A last-32 NM Cup tie against Follo FK is scheduled for 30 September, adding further edge to an already congested calendar.
The cup run represents an opportunity for the squad to rotate and for fringe players to stake their claims, while also keeping the possibility of silverware alive as the Norwegian season enters its decisive phase.
Tickets on Sale Now
Tickets for the upcoming home fixture against KFUM Oslo on 18 September are available through the club's official channels. Sarpsborg Stadion is accessible by both car and public transport, with the ground situated less than 1.5 miles from the town centre in the Enenda district.
With the league standings tight and every home point precious, the stadium's backing could prove decisive — and the club will be counting on another strong turnout as they look to climb the Eliteserien table in the weeks ahead.
