Just weeks ago, on 12 July, Sarpsborg 08 FF secured a 1–0 victory over Viking at Sarpsborg Stadion in Eliteserien matchday 13. The result — settled by a goal credited to M. Grotta — underlined the stadium's growing reputation as a difficult place for visiting sides to come away with points.
The win was the latest in a series of home performances that have seen Sarpsborg 08 beat both Fredrikstad and Molde on their own turf during the 2026 Eliteserien campaign.
The Road Ahead: A Packed Home Schedule
With the Ham-Kam fixture on 26 July next up, the second half of the season brings an impressive roster of visitors to Sarpsborg Stadion. Vålerenga, Rosenborg, KFUM Oslo, Aalesund, Kristiansund, Lillestrøm and Brann are all scheduled to make the trip before the campaign wraps up in December.
